Sort-of-Scary Monster Finger Puppers

This is a super simple folding project that requires no glue or scissors. If you can fold a sheet of paper in half you can make a monster puppet.
If you want to draw your own monster face then just download folding instructions. But if you want to make a monster just like mine you can download a face ready to color. When you go to print your monster, turn off the "scale to page" option or the face may not line up properly with the folds.

Easy To Make Witch and Wizard Hats

Materials
Construction paper or other stiff paper
Stapler
Glue Sticks
Crepe paper streamers (green and/or white)
Optional (crayons, star stickers etc)
Cut out a witch hat shape out of black or purple construction paper. To do this, cut a large triangle out of a 8 1/2" x 11" sheet of construction paper as shown. Attach the two brim pieces to the point of the hat with a glue stick. Cut the points off the brim sections. Or you can leave out the brim if you are making a wizard's hat.

Have the children decorate their hats. Some ideas would be adding a paper buckle, star stickers, spiders etc. Make a head band about 2 or 3" wide and long enough to go around the child's head. Staple the headband together. Attach the hat shape to the headband also with staples. Important Note: make sure you staple so the edges of the staples are pointing outward and are not going to scratch the child's head. Have the children tear off strips of crepe paper and glue them to the headband for creepy hair.
